In a new photo report purportedly released by the Islamic State, ISIS militants in "Wilayat Raqqa," patrol their "borders" to fight off the Syrian Arab Army of Bashar al-Assad. The photo report was released on ISIS terrorist channels on October 5. The accompanying summary of the report reads: "Aspects from the Ribat of the soldiers of Khilafah against the positions of the Nusayri army on the road between #Raqqah and #Ithriya." "Nusayri" is a term ISIS uses to describe al-Assad's regime, describing his religion of Alawi Islam. Ithriyah, Syria was last in the news in June, when the SAA failed to capture Raqqa in the Ithriyah-Raqqah offensive.Heavy is an independent news organization.
