Greg Macafee is a professional sports journalist based in Youngstown, Ohio, with over 10 years of experience covering high school, college, and professional sports. He currently covers the NFL, focusing on the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as MLB for Heavy.com.
Greg previously covered the Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and the University of Pittsburgh for DK Pittsburgh Sports. He served as a beat reporter for all three teams between 2025 and 2025. Before that, Greg covered high school athletics in the Youngstown/Warren, Ohio area and was named the Editor-In-Chief of the Tribune Chronicle/The Vindicator newspapers at the beginning of 2024. Greg Macafee graduated from Arizona State University with a master's degree in sports journalism. He obtained his bachelor's degree in journalism from Slippery Rock University.
