Jordon Lawrenz began his journalism career by introducing fantasy football coverage to Wisconsin Sports Heroics. His dedication to the Green Bay Packers was showcased, as well as his drive when he began covering high school sports for the website as well.
From there he began to publish his work elsewhere. Lawrenz has recently written for a multitude of websites, ranging from Hardwood Heroics to FanSided.
His Hardwood Heroics coverage was for his three favorite teams: Kansas Jayhawks, Marquette Golden Eagles, and Wisconsin Badgers. While covering college basketball, he briefly worked with Last Word on Sports to contribute to their Green Bay Packers coverage.
Reviewing the Brew allowed the 23-year-old to cover the Milwaukee Brewers for the first time. Having followed the team since the days of Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder, he made the most of his time with FanSided.
Now, Lawrenz contributes to PFSN, Heavy, and PrizePicks Playbook. He mainly is an NFL writer, mixing in some MLB and NCAAF articles from time to time.
Lawrenz covers the Carolina Panthers, Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee Titans, and Packers for Heavy.
Education
The University of Wisconsin - Green Bay allowed Lawrenz to graduate as a double emphasis major. His Sports Communication and Journalism emphasis have guided him in the right path to continue with his broadcasting aspirations, or pursue writing as a full-time living.
