One of the Brazilian officials, Fabio Wajngarten, has just tested positive for coronavirus. The two met on the weekend and posed for a picture together. “O Globo,” a Brazilian newspaper, confirmed that Wajngarten tested positive.
Fabio Wajngarten is the press secretary for Brazilian President Bolsonaro and accompanied him during the Mar-a-Lago visit. They had dinner with Trump, his daughter Ivanka Trump, and Vice President Mike Pence.
Wajngarten Tested for Coronavirus on Wednesday & Received the Positive Result on Thursday
The Brazilian press secretary also shared on Instagram a video he took of Trump, standing a few feet from him, doing a speech on the U.S.-Brazil relationship.
The Folha de S.Paulo newspaper had a column from Monica Bergamo which said that Wajngarten was tested on Wednesday at the Albert Einstein Hospital in São Paulo. On Wednesday, Wajngarten blasted the media on Twitter for speaking about his health.
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is being tested for coronavirus in light of this, but his result is not yet known. According to the National Post, Brazil has reported 52 cases of the coronavirus in the country to date. There have not been any reported deaths.

On Thursday, White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said that Trump and Pence had “almost no interactions” with Fabio Wajngarten and do not need to be tested for coronavirus, the Guardian reported.
On Monday, the White House said that President Trump had not yet been tested, CNN reported. The question was asked after a few lawmakers had gone into self-quarantine.
On March 10, Trump was asked if he would be getting tested and he said “I don’t think it’s a big deal.” He went on to say he didn’t see any reason for it and that he feels “extremely good.”
Wajngarten Is a 44-Year-Old Who Is Married & Has 4 Children
According to Fabio Wajngarten’s Twitter bio, he was born on November 1, 1975. The 44-year-old is a lawyer who has worked in media and communications since 1999. He posted a picture of his family on Facebook, writing in Portuguese that “family is the foundation of everything.”
He posted a message of love and support for his wife on December 1, saying it was her birthday. He wrote that she is an amazing wife, mother and companion and shared his “infinite love.”
