Get ready to get scared in an actual abandoned prison. The Eastern State Penitentiary hosts its own haunted prison every year titled “Terror Behind the Walls.” The attraction is open rain or shine and there are six attractions within the prison: Lock Down, Infirmary, Quarantine 4D, Detritus, Machine Shop and Break Out. 3. Universal Studios In Orlando, Florida and Hollywood, California
Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida as well as in Hollywood, California are seriously amazing during the Halloween season. The events are called Halloween Horror Nights and the attractions are all taken from some of your favorite movies as well as TV shows like The Purge, The Walking Dead, An American Werewolf In London, Insidious, Freddy Vs. Jason, and Halloween. At the Hollywood location, there are even 6 haunted mazes. From scare zones to rides to haunted houses, it’s definitely worth checking out.

5. House Of Torment Haunted Houses in Chicago
Check out the House of Torment attractions if you’re in the Chicago area. The two themed attractions are called Contagium and The Abandoned. The description of Contagium reads:
