In honor of Veterans Day 2016, a number of restaurants and chains across the country are offering discounts and freebies on their most popular items. Dunkin’ Donuts is honoring its veterans by offering one free coffee or donut of any variety to all active duty or retired military personnel all day long, according to Good4Utah.com. No ID is required, and the offer extends to all participating Dunkin’ Donuts locations.
An important note: Call the Dunkin’ Donuts location you’re planning to visit first to make sure they are participating in the free offer.
What about other coffee locations? Participating Starbucks are offering a free, tall-sized brewed coffee to active-duty military, veterans, and military personnel. Applebees, meanwhile, is offering a special menu with a number of free items (beverages and gratuity not included). Menu items featured as free include include the American Standard All-In Burger, Butcher’s Meat & Potatoes, Three-Cheese Chicken Cavatappi, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Chicken Tenders Platter, Double Crunch Shrimp and the Oriental Chicken Salad.
