The Kansas City Royals averaged 70 wins per season from 2010-2012, but have now won back-to-back American League titles and look for their first World Series title since 1985. The Royals had eight top-10 draft picks from 2000-2007, molding the roster as it currently is today.

The Royals have also been aggressive with trades and free agency, adding All-Stars in each.
