Rusev (c) (with Lana) vs. Roman Reigns (WWE United States Championship)

Highlights: Unlike at SummerSlam, the match actually happens this time! Roman Reigns starts off with the upper hand, with Rusev going into retreat mode almost immediately. He comes back a few minutes later with a spin kick, but Roman kicks out at two. Rusev repeatedly stomps on Roman’s chest and then starts punching him in the head over and over. Reigns again kicks out at two. More kicks to the face from Rusev, and Roman is not looking too good. At least six straight minutes consists of Rusev repeatedly punching Roman before Roman gets up and is punched some more. Finally, Roman comes back with a clothesline, gaining some momentum before Rusev throws him out of the ring and smashes him into the barricade. They brawl outside the ring for a bit, and soon Rusev throws Roman into the steel steps not once but twice. Rusev tries to put him away but Roman kicks out twice in a row. Roman comes back, driving Rusev into the barricade and then into the steel steps. He throws Rusev back into the ring and goes for a Superman punch, but Rusev counters it. Rusev gets in a pretty brutal kick to the side of Roman’s head, and just as Rusev is getting ready to finish things up, Roman gets in a Superman punch. Roman gets distracted by Lana, giving Rusev a perfect opportunity to put things away…but Roman kicks out. After throwing a complete temper tantrum, Rusev begins stomping on Roman’s back. Roman gets up and is literally seconds away from pinning Rusev, but Lana drags the referee out of the ring. He throws her out of the arena but does not end the match. Roman and Rusev go back and forth for a few more minutes, with things almost ending with an Accolade, but Roman is able to power out of it. He pins Rusev and wins.
