Santander went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a triple in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Yankees. Santander is 13-for-46 (.283) with five extra-base hits and three RBI over 12 contests in July. It was always reasonable to expect that he'd take a step back in the power department after slugging 13 homers in June. For the season, the outfielder is slashing .237/.301/.503 with 24 long balls, 58 RBI, 49 runs scored, 16 doubles and two triples over 91 games.
Henderson went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Yankees. Henderson's power pace has dipped in July -- he has two homers this month, though he's still hit .275 (14-for-51) over his last 12 contests. The shortstop's blast gave the Orioles a 2-1 lead in the third inning. Henderson is up to 28 homers this season, matching his total from 150 games last year in just 95 contests in 2024. He's added a .286/.373/.584 slash line, 63 RBI, 78 runs scored, 14 stolen bases, 18 doubles and five triples.
Kimbrel (6-2) picked up the win Sunday, allowing three runs on one hit and two walks over one inning against the Yankees. He struck out one. Kimbrel came on in the ninth looking for his 24th save but quickly blew that opportunity by allowing a couple of walks followed by a three-run homer by Ben Rice. To his credit, Kimbrel then retired the next three batters, making him the pitcher of record when the Orioles completed their own comeback in the bottom of the inning. Despite Sunday's outing, Kimbrel has been highly effective in his first season with the Orioles, entering the All-Star break with six wins, 23 saves, a 2.80 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 53 strikeouts in 39 appearances spanning 35.1 innings.
Kremer did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over 4.2 innings against the Yankees. He struck out four. Kremer entered the fifth inning in relatively good shape with a 2-1 lead but allowed a leadoff homer to Trent Grisham, then allowed two more batters to reach base, including a two-out walk to Aaron Judge that spelled the end to his day. Sunday represented Kremer's third start since returning from a triceps issue and he's been held to 83-85 pitches while failing to make it past the fifth in any of those outings. He'll enter the All-Star break with a 4.38 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 64 strikeouts over 63.2 innings.
O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees. With southpaw Carlos Rodon on the bump for the Yankees, the lefty-hitting O'Hearn will retreat to the bench. Adley Rutschman will get a day off of catching duties and serve as the Orioles' designated hitter with O'Hearn out of the lineup.
Urias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees. After going 1-for-5 with a triple, a walk and an RBI while starting in the first two games of the series, Urias will head to the bench for the finale. Jorge Mateo replaces Urias in the Baltimore lineup, manning second base while batting eighth.
Mullins is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees. The lefty-hitting Mullins hit the bench for Saturday's 6-1 loss while right-hander Luis Gil took the hill for the Yankees, and Mullins will remain out of the lineup for the series finale with a southpaw (Carlos Rodon) taking the hill for the opposition. Colton Cowser will cover center field and bat ninth in Mullins' place.
