The St. Louis Cardinals have another important series this weekend, as they take on the Philadelphia Phillies in a weekend series with NL Wild Card implications.
St. Louis just finished an electric series with the Cincinnati Reds, and the Cardinals are 66-63 on the season after a solid stretch of wins lately.
Before the Phillies series opener on Friday evening, the Cardinals revealed their game one lineup, which features a slight Jordan Walker tweak.

Over the past couple of days, Jordan Walker has served as the Cardinals’ cleanup man, but on Friday, he will bat third and also play right field.
In what has been a common change for manager Oli Marmol lately, Walker has been flipping spots in the batting order with Alec Burleson. However, Burleson is actually not in the Cardinals’ order on Friday evening.

Jordan Walker is undoubtedly the catalyst for the St. Louis Cardinals offense, and his breakout season is a primary reason the Cardinals are even in this Wild Card position.
On top of being named an All-Star and winning the Home Run Derby, Jordan Walker is batting .288 this season with 26 home runs, 94 RBI, and 140 hits.
He’s also added a 3.9 bWAR, 79 runs scored, 17 stolen bases, and an OPS+ of 140 while playing pretty much every day.
