UPDATE: Dallas Mavericks Make Cooper Flagg Announcement Before Suns Game

On Wednesday night, the Dallas Mavericks will play the Phoenix Suns (in Arizona).

The Mavs are coming off a 116-103 loss to the LA Clippers.

Cooper Flagg finished the game with 25 points, nine rebounds, two assists and one block while shooting 9/25 from the field and 1/3 from three-point range in 34 minutes of playing time.

Before Wednesday’s game, the Mavs announced that Flagg is on the injury report.

That said, he is listed as probable, so he should be available.

Underdog NBA wrote: “Cooper Flagg (wrist) listed probable Wednesday.”

Flagg was the first pick in the 2025 NBA Draft after an incredible freshman season at Duke.

He is currently averaging 21.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 47.1% from the field and 29.7% from three-point range in 67 games.

They have won two out of their last ten games (and are 10-28 on the road).

After the Suns, the Mavs will play their next game on Friday when they visit the Spurs in San Antonio.

The Mavs had reached the NBA Finals in 2024.

After trading away Luka Doncic, they are coming off a year where they lost to the Memphis Grizzlies in the play-in tournament.

On the other side, the Suns have gone 43-36 record in 79 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Western Conference.

They have won four out of their last ten games (and are 24-16 at home).
