Winfield (knee) did not participate in Wednesday's practice. Winfield has been unable to practice or play since suffering a knee injury against the Raiders in Week 14. Winfield is likely to be sidelined for the Bucs' regular-season finale against the Saints on Sunday unless he returns to practice -- in at least a limited capacity -- over the next two days.
Shepard (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday. Sidelined this past Sunday against the Panthers due to hamstring and foot injuries, Shepard is listed with only the first health concern as the Buccaneers begin Week 18 prep. How he fares on the field Thursday and Friday likely will determine whether or not he enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Saints.

Culp presumably suffered the injury during Sunday's 48-14 won over Carolina, in which he caught three of four targets for 52 yards while coming off the bench behind Payne Durham, who missed Wednesday's practice with a quadriceps injury. With starter Cade Otton (knee) also not practicing, Culp has some chance at a significant role in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Saints.

Durham filled in the past two weeks for Cade Otton, who also missed practice Wednesday and thus appears in danger of missing a third straight game with a knee injury. Devin Culp (ribs) took some of the snaps from Durham in Sunday's blowout of the Panthers, catching three passes for 52 yards but apparently suffering a rib injury along the way. Practice reports Thursday and Friday should provide more clarity on Tampa Bay's TE room for a crucial Week 18 matchup with the Saints.
Otton (knee) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice. A left knee injury has sidelined Otton the last two games, and a DNP to kick off Week 18 prep isn't exactly a great sign that he'll be available Sunday against the Saints. Payne Durham and Devin Culp have filled in for Otton during that span, but Durham also missed Wednesday's session due to a quadriceps issue, while Culp was limited due to a rib concern. As such, the state of the Buccaneers' tight end group is in flux heading into Sunday's regular-season finale against the Saints.
Irving was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice due to shoulder and shin injuries. Irving hasn't been a stranger to Buccaneers injury reports in his rookie season, but he's yet to miss a game. With his 113-yard effort on the ground in this past Sunday's win over the Panthers, he reached 1,000 rushing yards on the campaign. Assuming his current health concerns don't hold him back, he'll aim to build upon his 1,420 yards from scrimmage and seven rushing touchdowns in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Saints.
Nelson supplied two tackles (both solo), including 1.0 sacks, in the Buccaneers' 48-14 win over the Panthers on Sunday. Nelson was one of five Buccaneers to record a sack of Bryce Young, the sixth-year pro's fourth QB takedown of the season. Nelson continues to fill a rotational role in the linebacker corps, and he's logged at least 30 snaps in eight consecutive games.
