In a new photo report purportedly released by the Islamic State, ISIS militants in "Wilayat Diyala," east and northeast of the capital of Baghdad, Iraq, are seen showing off the "spoils of war." The photo report was put out on November 13. An accompanying description reads: "Spoils of War with Which Allah Blessed His Mujahideen Slaves, with the Repelling of the Advance Attempt of the Rafidi Army to Progress in Mutaybija Region in al-Atheem." “Wilayat Diyala,” sometimes spelled Dayala, “is located to the east and northeast of Baghdad, as well as the western Iranian border.” Vulnerable cities in the ISIS-occupied region include: “Ba’qubah, Al-Muqdadiyyah, Hibhib, Al-Khalis, Al-Wajihiyyah, Dilli ‘Abbas, Al-Sa’adiyyah, Jalawla’, Khanaqin, Ashraf City, [and] Buhriz.” Click on for the photos.
