In a new photo report purportedly released by the Islamic State, an ISIS sniper in Arima, "Wilayat Halab," Syria is photographed targeting a fighter with the Kurdistan Workers' Party. ISIS renamed the Aleppo province "Wilayat Halab" after its spotty "annexation." Halab is an ancient name for Aleppo. The photo report was released on ISIS terrorist channels on December 10. An accompanying summary of the photo report reads: "Targeting Positions of the #PKK Murtaddin near the #Arimah Town West of #Manbij with Sniper Fire." "Murtaddin" is Arabic for "apostate." Viewer discretion is advised.
