Barron Trump, President Donald Trump’s youngest son, turned 11 today, March 20. Not much is known at this point about how he’s celebrating, if he’s having a birthday party or already had one, but that hasn’t stopped people from celebrating online. In fact, on Reddit an entire thread was dedicated to celebrating his birthday. Barron quickly took many Americans’ hearts when he had trouble staying on his feet during his dad’s election night acceptance speech. Since then, all eyes have been on Barron, and his birthday is no exception.


1. Barron Made a Rare Public Appearance the Weekend Before His Birthday

The weekend before his birthday, Barron made a rare public appearance at the White House, just before boarding Marine One to go to Mar-a-Lago. It’s possible the visit was because of his birthday. He’s not seen often because he and First Lady Melania Trump still live in New York until he finishes the school year. Melania has said that they are absolutely moving to the White House after that, as early as June. Here’s another photo of Barron from this weekend:

2. Barron’s Candid Photo & Video Moments Have Been a Highlight of Trump’s Presidency

Barron’s many candid moments in front of the camera have been an endearing part of the Trump presidency. Here are some more photos taken recently:

3. His Birthday Was Also World Frog Day

Supporters of Trump have been quick to point out that Barron’s birthday just happens to be World Frog Day too. Trump supporters made the “Pepe” meme a symbol of Trump’s campaign, and they’re finding it fitting that Barron’s birthday is on the same day.


4. He Was Born in 2006 and Is Donald & Melania Trump’s Only Child

Barron Trump was born in 2006, just a year after Donald and Melania Trump were married. He’s the youngest of President Trump’s children and is actually closer in age to his eight nieces and nephews than to his siblings. Donald Trump Jr. is 28 years older than Barron. Melania has said that she calls him “Little Donald” because he’s a lot like his dad:

He is a very strong-minded, very special, smart boy. He is independent and opinionated and knows exactly what he wants. Sometimes I call him little Donald. He is a mixture of us in looks, but his personality is why I call him little Donald.”
