Word of advice: If you decide to get your boyfriend’s name tattooed on your back in his native Hebrew, maybe you should just ask him how it would look.

Unfortunately for this devoted girlfriend, she wanted to surprise her man and used a translation software to do so. What she intended to say was “I love [her boyfriend’s name.]” What she got was: “Babylon is the world’s leading dictionary and translation software.”

Live and learn. But please don’t procreate.

Remember to listen to the pronunciation of foreign words you want to use in a tattoo. My son wanted to get the word “Warrior” in Gaelic – until we googled the pronunciation – which is “gaycock”.

there’s also laoch, which is more used both in irish and scottish gaelic.
