The Wildcats Dominated the Game

The Wildcats had no problems in the 1st half, coasting to 54 points. The Wildcats trio of phenomenal freshman Stanley Johnson, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and T.J. McConnell had 34 points combined.

Early in the 2nd half, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson sat down with 16:34 left in the 2nd half after taking his 4th personal foul. However, the Wildcats continued to roll in a dominant performance.

Head coach Sean Miller once again wins his first game in the Tournament. What’s special to him now is that $25,000 bonus included in his contract because of the win.

The game was never in doubt, and the Wildcats looked the part of one of the contenders who could combat Kentucky, should a match-up happen later in the Tournament.
