Craig ended with three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and three rebounds in six minutes during Wednesday's 132-102 victory over the Suns. Craig moved back into the rotation, albeit during garbage time only. It's been rough going for the veteran since arriving in Boston mid-season, playing in just 12 games. During that time, he is averaging modest numbers, putting up 3.3 points and 1.8 rebounds in 8.9 minutes per game.
Walsh logged zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one block over six minutes during Wednesday's 132-102 victory over Phoenix. Walsh continues to serve as an emergency depth piece, typically seeing the floor during garbage time only. After suiting up for the majority of games during the first two months of the season, his opportunities have dwindled of late. He has played in just 14 games over the past two months, averaging 1.3 points and 1.5 rebounds in 6.9 minutes per contest.
Horford is part of Boston's starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Suns, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports. Horford will draw the start Wednesday in place of the injured Jayson Tatum (ankle). Horford is averaging 9.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists across 29.7 minutes per game as a starter this season.
Tatum (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Suns, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Tatum suffered a sprained left ankle during Monday's game against the Kings, which will keep him out Wednesday in Phoenix. The Celtics will likely turn to Al Horford and Sam Hauser to shoulder the load against the Suns.
Tatum (ankle) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against the Suns, Marc D'Amico of the Celtics' official site reports. Tatum went from doubtful to questionable after participating in Boston's morning shootaround. The superstar forward has been filling up the stat sheet on a nightly basis, but he sprained his ankle during Monday's win over the Kings, finishing with 25 points (8-15 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 4-8 FT), eight assists and seven rebounds in 26 minutes. Tatum is trending in the right direction but can be considered a true game-time decision Wednesday.
Tillman (knee) won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Suns. Tillman's absence streak will extend to four games Wednesday due to a left knee joint sprain. Tillman's next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with San Antonio.
Horford (toe) is off the Celtics' injury report for Wednesday's game against the Suns. Horford is slated to return to game action after missing Monday's win over the Kings due to a left big toe sprain. However, Monday's absence was likely just a day of rest during the second leg of a back-to-back set, as the veteran big man has yet to suit up in both halves of a back-to-back this season. Over his last five outings (all starts), Horford has averaged 10.0 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists across 31.0 minutes per game.
