To add extra flavor to your Christmas ham, use this simple recipe to prepare a delicious glaze in just minutes.
For best results, brush on the glaze while it’s cooking, approximately 30 minutes into the baking, which is usually an hour.
For the ham to retain the flavor of the delicious glaze, cut a criss-cross diamond pattern into the top of it.
You will need:
1 cup honey
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
In a saucepan, combine the honey, butter and sugar.
Stir over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the butter is melted.
Then stir in the vinegar and Worcestershire sauce.
Turn off the heat and set aside.
