For Friday’s game, the Mets have announced their starting lineup.

As part of their lineup announcement, the Mets have revealed that Soto is back playing in the outfield.
He had previously been used as DH.
Anthony DiComo of MLB.com wrote: “Juan Soto will play the outfield tonight for the first time since returning from the injured list with a strained right calf. He’s starting in left.”
Soto is currently batting .345 with 20 hits, three home runs, eight RBI’s and seven runs in 16 games.
He is in his second season playing for the Mets.
