Andrei Arlovski Has Learned To Keep His Hands Up

In an interview with our friends at CagePotato.com, Andrei Arlovski shares that he has learned to keep his hands up – and not to try the flying knee. Ahh, the flying knee. Imagine you are pretty much picking apart the best heavyweight MMA fighter of all time. Then, out of nowhere, something inside your werewolf like dome tells you it is time to launch a flying knee. A flying knee that you admitted you had not even trained to use. Then you woke up in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. Well, that’s Andrei Arlovski’s reality. But all is not lost.

Signed to a fresh new 16-month contract, Arlovski reveals he’s excited about his training, which has included stints at Greg Jackson’s and American Kickboxing Academy. He also chats about his upcoming fight with Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva on May 15. Read the full CagePotato interview here.
