UFC 118 Now Official, Tickets On Sale Next Week

The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s trip to Boston, Massachusetts later this year is now official.

The promotion recently announced that the rematch between UFC lightweight champion Frank Edgar and former longtime champion BJ Penn will headline UFC 118, which also features the long-rumored bout between world-renowned boxing champion James Toney and former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion Randy Couture. Boston’s TD Garden will play host to the event on August 28.

Also made official for the card, lightweight contenders Gray Maynard and Kenny Florian will meet on the main card, along with a middleweight bout between Nate Marquardt and Rousimar Palhares. The fifth main card bout, rumored to be a welterweight contest between Marcus Davis and Nate Diaz, is yet to be officially announced by the promotion.

As well as the event being announced just recently, the promotion announced today that tickets for the UFC’s debut in the state will go on sale next week.

UFC Fight Club members will get the first crack at tickets on June 23 at 10 a.m. ET, while newsletter subscribers will have the early opportunity 24 hours later. The general public will be given access to tickets on June 25, with tickets ranging from $75 to $600.
