The Eagles signed Latu to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Latu spent most of the 2024 regular season on the Browns' practice squad after being waived by the 49ers at the end of training camp in late August. Latu will have an opportunity to work with Eagles' training staff in the spring during OTAs and minicamp and will aim to earn a spot on the 53-man roster for the 2025 campaign. He has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game since being selected by San Francisco in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, 101st overall.

Latest Eagles News
Cameron Latu : Headed to Philadelphia
Dallas Goedert : Leading receiver as Philly advances
Goedert caught all four of his targets for 56 yards in Sunday's 28-22 divisional-round win over the Rams. The tight end led all Eagles pass catchers in yardage, as Jalen Hurts threw for only 128 yards on the day. Goedert is having a solid playoff so far, posting an 8-103-1 line on 10 targets through two games, and with the team's passing game being subordinate to its run game, he might be the most reliable downfield option Philly has heading into an NFC Championship Game clash against the Commanders.
DeVonta Smith : Four grabs against Rams
Smith caught all four of his targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 28-22 divisional-round win over the Rams. While it wasn't much, the production led all the Eagles' wide receivers on the day, as the team's offense continues to be carried on Saquon Barkley's shoulders. Smith has managed an 8-76-0 line on eight targets over Philly's two playoff games despite the limited volume available, and he might find more success in the NFC Championship Game against a Commanders secondary that had its issues during the regular season.
A.J. Brown : Just two catches in Sunday’s win
Brown caught two of seven targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 28-22 divisional-round win over the Rams. The Eagles' passing game has been completely de-emphasized during their playoff run, and Brown's production has taken the biggest hit. The star wideout has only a 3-24-0 line on 10 targets through two games -- a lower yardage total than he delivered in any single game during the regular season. Unless the Commanders find some way to bottle up Saquon Barkley next Sunday in the NFC Championship Game, Brown may have trouble making an impact again.
Saquon Barkley : Massive output in Sunday’s win
Barkley carried the ball 26 times for 205 yards and two touchdowns while catching all four of his targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 28-22 divisional-round win over the Rams. Most of his yardage came on two long touchdowns, a 62-yard dash late in the first quarter and a 78-yard score that put the game away in the fourth. Between the regular season and the playoffs, Barkley has 2,329 rushing yards through 18 appearances, leaving him 147 short of Terrell Davis' all-time NFL record. As the focal point of the Philly offense, Barkley will take aim at that mark while trying to help his team reach the Super Bowl next Sunday against the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game.
Jalen Hurts : Does damage on ground against Rams
Hurts completed 15 of 20 passes for 128 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions while adding 70 rushing yards and a TD on seven carries in Sunday's 28-22 divisional-round win over the Rams. For the second straight postseason game, Hurts threw for under 150 yards, but this time he bolstered his production with a 44-yard dash to the end zone early in the first quarter -- the longest touchdown run of his career. The QB did get checked out in the medical tent in the third quarter for a potential leg injury after taking a sack, but he didn't end up missing a snap. Hurts will try to lead the Eagles into the Super Bowl next weekend in the NFC Championship Game against the Commanders.
Quinyon Mitchell : Avoids major injury
Mitchell (shoulder) is believed to have avoided a major injury in Sunday's 28-22 NFC divisional-round win over the Rams, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports. Mitchell exited the game in the first quarter Sunday, ultimately remaining on the sidelines for the rest of the contest. The cornerback will now have a week to get ready to go for Philadelphia's matchup with the Commanders in the NFC conference-championship game. If he's unable to go, Isaiah Rodgers would likely draw the start versus Washington.
Quinyon Mitchell : Won’t return versus Rams
Mitchell (shoulder) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's divisional-round game against the Rams. Mitchell's first-half shoulder injury will keep him sidelined for at least the remainder of Sunday's divisional-round matchup. It's unclear if the standout rookie cornerback will have a chance to return if the Eagles win and advance to next Sunday's NFC Championship Game versus the Commanders. Expect cornerback Isaiah Rodgers to step up into a bigger role for the time being.
