The spotlight surrounding the Duke Blue Devils men’s basketball program rarely gets brighter than it does in March.
One year after reaching the Final Four but falling short of the national championship game, Duke enters the postseason with significant momentum. The Blue Devils finished the regular season with a 29–2 record and have been widely projected as one of the top teams in the country heading into the NCAA tournament. According to Yahoo Sports’ Jeff Eisenberg, it has been a foregone conclusion for weeks that Duke, along with the Michigan Wolverines men’s basketball and Arizona Wildcats men’s basketball, would secure three of the four No. 1 seeds in this year’s tournament field.
For Cameron and Cayden Boozer, the moment now extends beyond the basketball court.
The twin stars are featured in State Farm’s latest national commercial titled “Will You Be There?” — part of the company’s “With the Assist” platform — celebrating the unseen moments that help athletes succeed.
For the Boozer brothers, the experience reflects something they have shared throughout their entire lives.
“You experience a lot of things in life together,” Cameron Boozer told Heavy Sports in an exclusive interview. “So I think just doing these things is super cool. Playing at Duke, working with State Farm is just a great experience for us overall.”
Boozer Twins Focused on Team Success at Duke
Despite growing attention around their individual futures, both Boozer twins emphasize that their primary focus remains on helping Duke win.
Cayden Boozer explained that while he and Cameron play different positions, their approach to the game is nearly identical.
“I think obviously we play different positions. He’s more of a four or a point guard, but think at the end of the day, our roles are similar in the sense of, we just gotta do whatever we can to help the team win,” Cayden told Heavy Sports.
“Whether it’s getting on the floor for a loose ball, grabbing that rebound, just doing the little things to help our team win, and just focusing on the 98%, which is other things that don’t really count the stats.”
Cameron echoed that philosophy, describing leadership and winning as his top priorities.
“I would just say, you know, trying to be a leader for our team, and just doing whatever it takes to win,” Cameron said. “Like Cayden said, that might be scoring, might be rebounding, defending.”
State Farm’s March Tournament Campaign
State Farm said the campaign highlights the support systems that often go unnoticed behind major moments in sports.
“The March tournament is the biggest stage in college basketball, and we’re honored to be part of it with Cameron and Cayden,” said Kristyn Cook, State Farm’s Chief Agency, Sales and Marketing Officer.
“This new commercial marks the next chapter in our With the Assist platform — turning the question ‘will you be there?’ into a resounding ‘yes.’ From high school gyms to the tournament spotlight, when it matters most — State Farm is there.”
State Farm has continued to invest heavily in basketball at every level, including partnerships with Overtime Elite and college stars competing in the NCAA tournament.
Bringing the Boozer twins into the campaign reflects the brand’s ongoing effort to highlight athletes whose journeys are built on teamwork, family support and community.
As Duke prepares for the most intense stretch of the season, Cameron says the focus remains simple.
“Just doing whatever we can to help our team win.”
