Baun (rest) is listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Giants. With the Eagles already having the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs locked up, they are likely to rest a vast majority of their starters, including Baun, Jalen Carter (rest), Darius Slay (rest) and Nakobe Dean (rest). Baun had a remarkable first season in Philadelphia, entering Week 18 with the fourth-most tackles in the NFL (151). Jeremiah Trotter and Oren Burks are expected to serve as the Eagles' top inside linebacker duo in Week 18, with both Baun and Dean listed as doubtful.
Goedert (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Giants. The Eagles are resting most of their starters but seemingly want to give Goedert a tune up before the wild-card round of the playoffs. He last played Week 13 and now is on track to be activated from injured reserve Saturday. It'll be a major surprise if Goedert handles his normal workload Sunday.
Pickett (ribs) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest versus the Giants. Despite not practicing this week due to a rib injury, Pickett has been given a chance to be available, at the very least, for the Eagles' regular-season finale. With Jalen Hurts (concussion/left finger) out for a second consecutive game, a healthy Pickett likely would be getting the nod under center Week 18, but fellow reserve Tanner McKee relayed to Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia on Friday that he's preparing for his first NFL start. As a result, Pickett may be McKee's direct backup Sunday or even inactive as the emergency third QB behind McKee and Ian Book, assuming Pickett suits up.
Hurts (concussion/left finger) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Giants. Hurts hasn't practiced since sustaining a concussion while taking a big hit in the first quarter of a Week 16 loss at Washington. He thus will miss a second game in a row to end the regular season, and his backup Kenny Pickett (ribs), who also didn't practice this week, is listed as questionable for Week 18. Even if Pickett is active for Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET matchup, he may be no more than the No. 2 QB to Tanner McKee, who told Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia on Friday that he's preparing for his first NFL start. As for Hurts, he'll turn his focus to getting ready for the wild-card round against the to-be-determined No. 7 seed in the NFC.
Shipley (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants. Shipley practiced without limitations Friday, but he'll need to cleared by an independent neurologist to exit the concussion protocol and suit up. He was concussed in Week 16 against the Commanders and subsequently sat out against the Cowboys in Week 17. The rookie fourth-round draft pick has only 20 carries all season, but Shipley and Kenneth Gainwell could both be in store for significant roles in the regular-season finale, as Saquon Barkley's listed as doubtful due to rest purposes.
Brown (knee/rest) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Giants. Brown's absence will be for rest and injury avoidance more so than anything to do with his minor knee injury. He should be ready for a full workload in the wild-card round of the playoffs against Washington or Green Bay.
Smith (rest/wrist) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Giants. The Eagles have a slew of starters listed as either out or doubtful. There's been no indication that Smith's wrist injury is a concern for the playoffs.
