The Indiana Fever continue their five-game road trip on Saturday against the New York Liberty. They visit the Barclays Center for the second time this season and face the Liberty for their fourth matchup of the campaign.
The Fever have won two of the first three meetings, both at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. They enter the matchup on a grueling schedule of five games in seven nights, ending it with a back-to-back this weekend.
With fatigue being a factor, the Fever’s injury report could look similar to what they had in their previous back-to-back set.

On Friday afternoon, the Indiana Fever announced their official injury report against the New York Liberty. The Fever listed three players: Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Damiris Dantas.
Dantas was already ruled out for the rest of the season earlier this month after undergoing left knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus. She’s currently not with the team as she starts her recovery.
Clark is listed as probable with her back injury. She’s expected to get cleared before tip-off. She is on the injury report to avoid any punishment from the WNBA, with the Fever learning their lesson from three months ago.
Boston, on the other hand, is questionable due to a lower right leg injury. She initially injured her right knee in February at Unrivaled, but she was healthy enough to start the season. She re-aggravated the injury after falling hard on her right knee at the end of July against the Seattle Storm.
However, Boston has not missed a game since it happened, though it wouldn’t be surprising if she gets downgraded to out against the Liberty. They are playing the first game of a back-to-back, so they could rest Boston on Saturday. They could also possibly sit out Clark and Kelsey Mitchell on Sunday in Chicago.
The Fever rested Clark and Boston alternately in their previous two back-to-back sets on July 8 and 9 and July 17 and 18.

The Indiana Fever had their five-game winning streak snapped by the Dallas Wings on Thursday. They dropped to fourth in the WNBA standings at 24-13, barely hanging on with the Atlanta Dream just half a game behind.
On the other hand, the New York Liberty are also coming off a loss. They dropped a game against the Chicago Sky on Tuesday, giving them a record of 22-15. They are well-rested heading into Saturday’s game at the Barclays Center, starting a three-game homestand before the FIBA World Cup break.
The Liberty won the first matchup 83-75 in Brooklyn on June 6. The Fever won the next two on July 18 and August 11 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, with scores of 108-88 and 106-92, respectively.
