Apparently, Piers Morgan Live is “coming to an end,” according to FOX News. FOX stated:
Morgan, who succeeded Larry King in the 9 p.m. EST time slot three years ago, was drawing lackluster ratings. In contrast, King had a 25-year run on CNN.
The NY Times states that after three years:
It’s been an unhappy collision between a British television personality who refuses to assimilate — the only football he cares about is round and his lectures on guns were rife with contempt — and a CNN audience that is intrinsically provincial.
Reportedly, Morgan’s last show will probably air in March and the network is currently looking for a replacement. The network is also “in talks” with Morgan to find a place for him on the air.
