Fergie just put out a new music video that has the internet a flutter.
In the clip below, for her new song “L.A. Love,” watch her shake her toned bikini body.
At 39 years old, the sultry songstress manages a successful music career with a happy family.
She married actor Josh Duhamel in January of 2009 and the two have a 1-year-old son together.
Although the couple has endured heartache and each other’s busy schedules they are still going strong.
Here’s what you should know about their love story.
1. Their Relationship Started Because of a Music Video
The actor had seen the Black Eyed Peas singer in the “Hey Mama” video, above.
Molly Sim’s boyfriend was over Duhamel’s house and called him over to check her out on screen. “This girl shakes it like she wants a career,” he told him.
From then on, Duhamel was smitten. At the time, he was acting on the show Vegas, and he convinced the producers to get the band on as guest stars. In an interview on Anderson Cooper, he describes his initial infatuation.
2. Fergie French Kisses Her Husband and Son
Fergie has a lot of love for the men in her life, and isn’t afraid to show it.
In an interview with Chelsea Handler, she said:
I kissed Axl and Josh [Duhamel, her husband] at home — both French. My son likes to French kiss me a lot. It’s so delicious! He goes in for the kill, but I’ll have to cut that off at a certain age, or else it’ll be weird, a little bit Oediupus.
On August 14, the little one took his first steps and Fergie was there to see it all, but Duhamel was working during the milestone.
“He was at work. I felt so bad! But you know, we’re both working parents so each of us are going to get different gifts,” she told Us.
3. They Go to Church Together
In an interview with More, he talked about the things they like to do together:
We have our routine. Saturday nights we go to church and dinner afterward. We also like to take hikes and work out, and we even have certain TV shows that we like watching. We also love to cook. We are a lot more normal than people think.
Both practicing Catholics, Fergie agrees that their faith holds them together.
“That’s where that deeper love comes in…The good stuff you get to is on the spiritual level,” she told Oprah.
4. He Was Accused of Sleeping With a Stripper
Nicole Forrester, a dancer from a strip club in Atlanta, came out and said she had a one-night stand with Duhamel. Although he admits to being at the club that night, he denies the allegations.
In the interview with Oprah, above, Fergie admitted to going to a lot of therapy with Duhamel and said that they now share a deeper love as a result.
“When you go through difficult times, it really makes you stronger as a unit, as a partnership. It does for us, anyways. Our love today is a deeper love, definitely. We’re stronger today definitely because of anything difficult that’s happened with us. We deal with it, we communicate; communicating’s the most important thing,” she continued.
5. They Have a 2- Week Rule
With their hectic schedules, they still make time for their relationship.
In the interview with More, Duhamel said:
We have a rule. We don’t go more than two weeks without seeing each other. If she is on tour, I will meet up with her, or if I am on a movie, she will come out to where I am filming. Like now, I am shooting in North Carolina, and she is staying with me for a week or two. When we were first together, we didn’t realize it is too difficult to go more than two weeks without being together. We want to stay tight. That is our number-one priority.
Although Fergie is in charge of her career, she can admit that at home, she lets her husband protect her.
“I’m the boss at work, but when I go home, I’m his girl,” she told Glamour.
