Chris Jamison from Team Adam Levine was the first singer announced to be in the Top 3 finalists on The Voice tonight. Craig Wayne Boyd was the second announced, leaving Damien Lawson, Taylor John Williams, and Matt McAndrew in jeopardy. The third finalist announced was Matt McAndrew. Taylor John Williams and Damien Lawson rejoin the rest of the Top 12 artists to compete for a wildcard position in the finals.
The results of the Top 3 were a surprised to some who were sure that Damien Lawson and Taylor John Williams would be included. Unfortunately, this was not the case and they are forced to sing for a place in the Top 4, along with past contestants. After Damien’s performance, Adam Levine pleaded with the audience, telling them that Damien belongs in the Top 4.
UPDATE: The wildcard performer was announced by Carson Daly on the Today Show, and it is Damien Lawson! Congrats, Damien!
