Robert Herjavec is often seen on Shark Tank, but now he’s a contestant on Dancing With the Stars and his rumored relationship with DWTS partner Kym Johnson is all anyone can talk about … that and his divorce from longtime wife Diane Plese. Surely, all the dating rumors can’t help with his divorce, so will Herjavec be able to keep most of his $200 million fortune? With a net worth like that, there’s a lot to lose, especially since he met his wife before he was rich, over 25 years ago, and the two have three children together.
So, how did Herjavec amass such a fortune? Celebrity Net Worth lists his business ventures as this:
Robert’s first major business success came when he founded Canada’s top provider of Internet security software, BRAK Systems, in 1990. BRAK Systems was eventually sold to AT&T for $100 million. In 2000 Herjavec accepted the position of VP of Internet Security after the purchase by AT&T. Later he became the VP of Sales at RAMP Network which was later acquired by Nokia for $225 million. In 2003 he founded his own company called The Herjavec Group which is a security software company. He is also a venture capitalist.
Herjavec has a private plane, impressive sports cars and a beautiful home in the Bridle Path which is a neighborhood of North York, Toronto. He also has a large mansion in North York, Ontario that was the largest and most expensive home sold in Canada. Guests including Michael Bublé, John Travolta, Mick Jagger, and Bono have stayed at the home. Herjavec’s house has been featured on MTV Cribs and on Joan Rivers’ TV show How’d You Get So Rich? Herjavec also has several other vacation homes.
