TMZ reports that Bobbi Kristina, Whitney Houston’s daughter, has passed away. Alicia Etheridge is Bobbi Kristina Brown’s step-mother. She married her father, Bobby Brown, in 2012.

Here’s what there is to know about Alicia Etheridge.

1. She Married Bobby Brown in 2012

Bobby Brown had met Etheridge before he married Whitney Houston in the early 90s. They then re-connected over a decade later, as Alicia and Bobby Brown have now been together since at least 2008. They already have one child together, a boy named born in 2009 named Cassius. Cassius is Bobbi Kristina brown’s step-brother.

Bobby and Alicia then married in 2012 in a ceremony in Hawaii.

The wedding happened just months after Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown’s first wife, had been found intoxicated and drowned in a bathtub at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Oddly enough, his daughter with Houston was discovered the same way: submerged in a bathtub and reportedly under the influence of drugs.

2. Alicia Was With Bobby at Bobbi Kristina’s Side

In February, US Magazine reported that Alicia was with Bobby at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Bobbi Kristina had been held there for two weeks in an induced coma, and some speculations were that the family intended to take her off life support on the third anniversary of the death of her mother, February 11.

Other people at the hospital with the couple at the time included Bobbi Kristina’s “husband” Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina’s friend Max Lomas who performed CPR on her, actor/director Tyler Perry, Marion “Pat” Houston who is the executor of her estate, and Jerod Brown, Bobbi Kristina’s cousin.

Since getting back together with Alicia after meeting in the early 90s at a dance class, Brown has credited her with bringing him back to music.

“I got my passion back for music and for loving myself because of her,” he told People Magazine.

Since reconnecting with Etheridge in 2007, he released since his first album since 1997. In 2011 he released Masterpiece. It was his first album with a parental advisory label.

4. She Might Be Pregnant

While it has not been verified, in February it was rumored that Etheridge was four months pregnant with her second child with Bobby Brown.

However, life doesn’t seem all good for Etheridge. According to a Radar article, she has a $10k warrant out for her rest for multiple DUI infractions.

5. Bobby Brown or Alicia Won’t Inherit Anything

Neither Alicia or Bobby will inherit the estate.

New Jersey News reports:

According to the terms of the will, if Bobbi Kristina dies, family matriarch Cissy Houston and Whitney’s two surviving brothers are next in line to inherit the estate — which includes full royalties from the late singer’s music, likeness and image.

Bobbi Kristina inherited 10 percent (about $2 million) when she turned 21 and was scheduled to inherit another 15 percent at age 25, before receiving the remainder at 30.
