Camille Cosby, Bill Cosby’s Wife – The Latest News

Camille Cosby

Camille Cosby has stuck by her longtime husband throughout his many rape accusers and she is still by his side as he's been arrested for a 2004 sexual assault case against alleged victim Andrea Constand. Perhaps it's Bill Cosby's reported net worth of $400 million that keeps her around. Camille, who is also her husband's business manager, was recently subpoenaed by seven of Cosby's alleged victims to give a deposition in their defamation lawsuit against Bill Cosby. However, his lawyers jumped in, according to CNN, saying that: Information that was the subject of confidential communications between Mrs. Cosby and defendant is protected by Massachusetts' spousal disqualification rule. Camille Cosby met her husband when she was 19 years old in 1964. When the accusations of rape started to come about, Camille defended her husband publicly, saying: The man I met, and fell in love with, and whom I continue to love, is the man you all knew through his work. He is a kind man ... and a wonderful husband, father and friend. Bill Cosby has now been charged with a felony sex crime and according to NPR, the victim Constand is a former Temple University employee. Constand maintains that Cosby drugged and assaulted her in January 2004 at Cosby's house in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania has a 12-year statute of limitations on felony sex crimes. In a 2005 deposition, Bill Cosby had admitted that he had, "obtained the sedative Quaalude with the intent of giving the drug to women with whom he wanted to have sex, and he acknowledged giving it to at least one woman."
