Spurgeon Elliot Seewald is the baby boy of Jessa (Duggar) and Ben Seewald and his nickname is Quincy. He was born on November 5, 2015, four days passed their due date, at 9 lbs. 11 oz. 21 inches. The somewhat scary delivery airs on Jill & Jessa: Counting On, showing the painful hours and frightening 911 call from Jessa's mother Michelle Duggar. It was a home birth, with Jessa surrounded by family, and the process carried on for many hours. In order to help speed up the delivery, Jessa actually started speed-walking and that seemed to do the trick. Jessa explained: If you're going to try to have a baby, just do it. I mean, don't mosey on down the trail at a snail's pace! Power walk it. Walk the baby out! She exercised for about an hour and was soon ready to give birth. But, overall, it was approximately a 48-hour delivery and it ended in a trip to the hospital. Ouch. When baby Spurgeon was finally born, Jessa's midwife became concerned about excessive bleeding and she needed serious medical attention. Jessa confessed to People: I had dreamed about those first moments, getting to breastfeed right away, all that. And so when I had to go to the hospital, it was a shock. Jessa ended up having to undergo a blood transfusion and stay overnight at the hospital.
