Reba McEntire: CMA Awards Performer 2016

Reba McEntire, 61, is a four-time CMA Female Vocalist winner and a former Entertainer of the year, and tonight, she'll be performing at the 2016 CMA Awards. The Oklahoma native says her best memory of the CMAs is sharing her dressing room with the women who inspired her-- Brenda Lee, Tammy Wynette, and Emmylou Harris. She tells CMT.com, "Emmylou looked at me and said, ‘Reba, good luck. And I said, ‘Oh Emmylou, you, too.’ She said, ‘No, no, no. I’ve won. It’s your turn.’ And I thought, ‘Oh, how nice of her.’ And I won that night. It’s one thing I’ll never forget is her generosity and her big heart.” McEntire won the category through 1987, which set the record for the most consecutive wins for the title of female vocalist in the organization's history.
