Kimberly Payne: Photos of Lee Greenwood’s Wife

Lee Greenwood, who wrote the "God Bless the USA" in 1983, performed at the "Make America Great Again: Welcome Celebration" in Washington DC on Thursday, ahead of Donald Trump's Inauguration. This isn't the first time that Greenwood has performed at an Inauguration-- he did so at Ronald Reagan, George Bush, and George W. Bush's ceremonies, and will be performing at the dinner for incoming Vice President Mike Pence, too. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter earlier this week, Greenwood was asked what his reasoning was behind accepting the offer to perform at Trump's official celebration concert. He responded, "It’s not just about the Trump event, it’s about the change of power in D.C. This is our fourth inauguration. I think whenever you’re asked to do a Congressional appearance, I think it’s in bad taste to say, 'No.' It’s not political. I consider it a great honor and prestige of being able to sing the song I wrote in 1983 at the Lincoln Memorial. It will be a wonderful moment for my career, but also for the citizens who will be watching it on television worldwide." Greenwood added on that he's been hearing tremendous feedback from his fans in response to his accepting the offer to perform. And what about his personal life? Greenwood is married to former Miss Tennessee USA, Kimberly Payne, and they have two sons together. Click through our gallery to learn more about Greenwood and his wife. (Getty)
