Tonight is the first night of the live shows for America’s Got Talent 2017 and a portion of the winners so far on the show will be performing. Twelve of the remaining 36 acts are set to perform and we’ve got the rundown on a bunch of them. Tomorrow night, a results episode will air, with only seven acts advancing to the semifinals. So, who are the contestants set to perform this week? Let’s get into the acts below.
Singer Angelica Hale actually ended up getting a golden buzzer after her second performance on the show, when Chris Hardwick was a guest judge.
Artyon & Paige
This very young dancing duo had difficulty convincing Simon Cowell that they were worthy of being on the show when they danced to “Barbie Girl.” Their second audition was to the Dirty Dancing hit “I’ve Had the Time of My Life” and Cowell was won over.
Billy & Emily England
When this brother and sister extreme rollerblading duo are not on the AGT stage, they perform in Las Vegas, Nevada as part of the variety show “Absinthe.”
Guardino is a young singer who was given the golden buzzer this season because of the maturity in his voice and his likability. He is a humble and timid 16-year-old, who began singing when he was very young. For his initial audition, as soon as he opened his mouth to sing, Simon Cowell looked stunned and Howie Mandel’s mouth dropped.
Darci Lynne Farmer
This singing ventriloquist is young and she hopes to keep the old skill of ventriloquism alive, but with a modern twist. Previously on the show, a ventriloquist was a winner, so Farmer definitely has a good shot.
In The Stairwell
In The Stairwell is an a cappella group that is in the air force and their vocal abilities are surprising. They also appear to have a sense of humor, previously performing NSYNC’s song “Bye Bye Bye.”
This Hip-Hop Dance Group is very impressive. Their body movements are almost robotic.
Comedian Preacher Lawson was up against some stiff competition but was able to rise above other comics on the show.
Puddles Pity Party
Puddles Pity Party is a singing clown who has surprised the judges with his vocal ability. Aside from singing, part of his act is that he does not speak.
Bello Nock is a comedic daredevil on the show and he is known for his very tall hairdo. He previously had himself shot out of a cannon at judge Simon Cowell’s request.
The Singing Trump
What better time is there to have a singing Trump impersonator than now? And, not only does this man sing, he also dances.
Yoli Mayor is a singer, who Simon Cowell helped revamp her look. Apparently, this made a world of a difference in her act.
On tomorrow’s live results show, America’s Got Talent season 11 winner Grace VanderWaal will perform.
