Jamie Costa is the actor/director who is currently making a name for his uncanny resemblance to the late Robin Williams while doing impersonations. He released a video on YouTube of his impersonations of the famous actor on April 13, and it instantly went viral.

1. He Released a Video Titled ‘Never Had A Friend Like Him’
According to his Facebook fan page, Costa is a self-described “actor, model, filmmaker, [and] impressionist” who is becoming a viral sensation due to his YouTube video above.
The video, titled Never Had A Friend Like Him in reference to the song Robin Williams sang as Genie in Aladdin, was posted to Costa’s YouTube account on April 13 and immediately went viral on Facebook and Reddit. In the video, Costa does some of Williams’ most famous characters including: Mork from Mork & Mindy, Adrian Cronauer in Good Morning, Vietnam, Armand Goldman in The Birdcage, and of course Mrs. Doubtfire to name a few.
2. He’s a Vine Star
Costa was already known for his impersonations previous to his viral YouTube video. On his Vine account he has nearly 242k subscribers and frequently posts impersonations of not only Williams but other actors, too.
Above is a Vine he shared a day ago of him doing an impression of Dustin Hoffman in the 1967 movie The Graduate. Other impressions he frequently does include Michael Caine, Owen Wilson, and Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean.
3. He’s From South Carolina
Costa was born in Charleston, South Carolina and attended and from Massanutten Military Academy in Woodstock, Virginia, graduating as the highest ranking cadet in his class. He then attended North Greenville University in Tigerville, South Carolina, graduating in 2013. During college, he took a semester to study at the LA Film Studies Center.
His IMDB bio shows that he is currently working on a few projects.
4. He Might Soon be Appearing on ‘America’s Got Talent’
2015 may be Costa’s year to shine, as he posted this photo on his Facebook fan page—which already has nearly 15k “likes”—on March 20, “subtly” suggesting a future appearance. He writes:
Just said hey to those celebrity judges.

5. Robin Williams Died in 2014
