If you are a young woman graduating from high school or college this year, you’ve probably put a lot of thought into the dress you’ll be wearing underneath your graduation robes. While graduation dress shopping may not be as exciting as hunting for a prom dress, it is important to find a dress for graduation day that will be comfortable, appropriate for being around your family, and (most importantly) totally on-trend. We’ve rounded up five of the hottest graduation dress styles for 2015. Read on to see some of the best dress styles for Graduation Day 2015.

1. made2envy Bodycon Midi or Mini Peplum Dress

(made2envy)

If you’re looking for a dress that marks your transition into adulthood, this sophisticated peplum dress is a real winner. It’s available in white, which is nice for schools that require grads to wear white robes. If you’re lucky enough to go to a school with darker robes, then you can go with one of the other color options, like navy blue, red, or black.

We also like the fact that this dress is available in two lengths. If you’re looking for a more conservative cut, there’s a nice knee-length option. But if you want a dress that’s a little more party-friendly, you can go for the miniskirt option. Either way, this is a figure-hugging dress that will be a breath of fresh air after spending the day in billowing robes.

Price: $29.99, depending on cut and color selected

This gorgeous dress is perfect for a hot summer day. It’s short enough to feel flirty and feminine, but the neckline is still nice and high (so your grandmother won’t be scandalized by your cleavage). While the dress is dry-clean only, it’s worth the extra hassle to clean it properly. After wearing it for graduation, you can wear it to brunch or parties all summer long.

Price: $223.30 (30 percent off MSRP)

The buckles are also adjustable, which is great for women who have a hard time finding dresses that perfectly fit their torso.

My daughter will be graduating this next year and she is already talking about her graduation dress. I will admit that I was pretty excited about my own graduation outfit, but not this soon! She has shown me so many cute designs online and I have been looking at a few dress boutiques as well. I think that it is such an exciting time for those seniors and it always helps to have a great dress to help you through it all. Thanks for the wonderful designs!
