Notre Dame heads to Death Valley to take on Clemson Saturday evening. It is the first time the two teams have played since 1979.
Notre Dame has continued to win despite losing starting quarterback Malik Zaire for the season. DeShone Kizer has stepped up in his absence and played well. Running back C.J. Prosise and wide receiver Will Fuller are key contributors to Notre Dame’s explosive offense.
DeShaun Watson leads Clemson at quarterback after missing much of last season due to injury. Like Notre Dame, Clemson enters the matchup undefeated. They have not had the most difficult schedule so far. Saturday night’s game should provide some insight into how good the Tigers are.
The Notre Dame and Clemson game will be broadcast on ABC’s Saturday Night Football at 8 PM. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the game.
