No. 10 Minnesota Timberwolves
Record: 4-3
Analysis: An argument could be made for any number of teams in this spot. With so much of the season left to go, teams are still beginning to separate from each other. The Timberwolves look much improved from last season. They have two quality wins against the Bulls and Hawks. With Anthony Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns the Timberwolves are playing at a high level. No. 9 Chicago Bulls
Record: 5-3
Analysis: The Bulls have quality wins against the Cavs and Thunder. Consistency has been the problem for Chicago as they have not been able to win more than two games in a row. Chicago has shown they can continue to be one of the best teams in the East, but they have also shown they are vulnerable. (Getty)

No. 8 Toronto Raptors
Record: 6-3
Analysis: After starting the season 5-0, the Raptors have lost three straight games. Their early win streak included back to back victories against the Mavs and Thunder. The Raptors have proven early on they can play with anyone. Now they are trying to sustain their winning ways. (Getty)

No. 7 Detroit Pistons
Record: 5-3
Analysis: Detroit may have the most quality wins of anyone in the league. They have beaten teams like the Hawks, Bulls and Jazz. After hitting a rough patch at the early part of November, the Pistons hope they can string together victories again like they did to start the season. (Getty)

No. 6 Oklahoma City Thunder
Record: 5-3
Analysis: The Thunder had a challenging first week of November losing three straight games. Oklahoma City's success depends on the health of Kevin Durant. With Durant already missing time, there is an uneasy feeling in Oklahoma City. The Thunder have had a solid start to the season but need their superstars to be healthy to make noise in the playoffs. No. 5 Los Angeles Clippers
Record: 5-3
Analysis: After starting the season strong, the Clippers have lost three of their last four games. The losses have all been to some of the better teams in the Western Conference like the Warriors. The Clippers have looked like a good team. The question going forward is whether they will be a middle of the road team in the West or if they have the potential to become one of the elite teams in the conference. (Getty)

No. 4 Atlanta Hawks
Record: 8-2
Analysis: The Hawks have picked up where they left off last season. Atlanta is proving their success was no fluke. Outside of the Warriors, the Hawks have the most wins in the league. Their best wins include Miami and Washington. (Getty)

No. 3 San Antonio Spurs
Record: 6-2
Analysis: Four of the Spurs six wins have come against Eastern Conference teams. They lost their lone game against a good Western Conference team (Thunder). Their schedule will get more challenging, but the addition of LaMarcus Aldridge gives them the ability to be one of the top teams in the Western Conference. (Getty)

No. 2 Cleveland Cavaliers
Record: 7-1
Analysis: The Cavs have been able to win games despite dealing with injuries. Kyrie Irving has yet to play this season and there has been no timetable set on his return. Cleveland has caught fire since losing the first game of the season to the Bulls. They have taken advantage of some of the weaker teams in the Eastern Conference, but have quality wins against the Jazz, Heat and Grizzlies. (Getty)

No. 1 Golden State Warriors
Record: 9-0
Analysis: The Warriors are the only undefeated team in the league and have started the season in championship form. They have done so by beating some of the best teams in the West. They have victories against the Rockets and Clippers. Not only do the Warriors have quality wins, they have looked like the best team in the league by far. (Getty)
