The New York Islanders are determined to prove that home is now, officially, in Brooklyn.

Although the Barclays Center may not ever be quite the same as the Nassau Coliseum, the Islanders found some serious home cooking in Game 3, buoyed by their fans en route to an OT victory over the Florida Panthers. Oh, and did we mention that the win put New York up 2-1 in the series? That might be the most important part.

New York has grabbed a lead in the series despite giving up a goal within the first five minutes in each of the first three games. Its a, as forward Matt Martin put it, a “bit of bad luck,” but one that hasn’t hampered the Islanders at all so far. Of course, it’s also helpful that the squad has kept Jaromir Jagr off the board as well.

Puck drop for the game is slated for 8 p.m. ET and is being nationally broadcast on USA. Don’t worry if you wont’ be near a TV though. We’ve got ways to stream the game online and on mobile:
