Eddie Alvarez is the new light heavyweight champion.
The former Bellator champ went to town on Rafael dos Anjos, who was making his second title defense, connecting with a huge right hand then proceeding to unload with a violent assault before referee Herb Dean was forced to stop the fight in the first round.
