Tonight is the finale of The Bachelorette 2017, with Rachel Lindsay choosing her fiance. There are three suitors left on the show, but only one of them ends up with Lindsay at the end. At the beginning of the season, Bachelorette guru Reality Steve reported that Kraus was the winner this season. Reality Steve stated:
Rachel is engaged to Peter Kraus. As I say every season, this isn’t a prediction, this isn’t a guess, this isn’t “Well, I know who the final 3 are, I’ve got a 33% chance of being right, might as well just take a stab at it.” No, she’s engaged to Peter … So congrats to those two, their lives and every motion they make from now until her finale airs on Aug. 7th will be dissected every which way but Sunday, so I hope they’re ready for that. Nothing left to see here for me.
A few weeks into the season, however, Reality Steve corrected his first report and said that Kraus was NOT the winner. Reality Steve reported that his sources were wrong and that Dr. Bryan Abasolo is the man engaged to Rachel Lindsay this season.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, though Kraus has had a lot of fans this season, he has also faced criticism for a comment he made in his high school yearbook about wanting to be The Bachelor. One person who has definitely voiced his desire to see Kraus as the next star of The Bachelor is Bachelorette cast-off Dean Unglert, who joked to E! News:
Hands down, Peter Bachelor 2018, if that’s possible! I don’t know if he’s engaged or not. But I would gladly concede to Peter as next Bachelor.
During his final days on The Bachelorette, Peter Kraus and Rachel Lindsay clashed when it came to their views on getting engaged. Perhaps this was a factor in Rachel Lindsay’s final decision about who she would end up with this season.
