‘The World’s End’ Comic-Con 2013: Interview with Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and Edgar Wright

Heavy is live at San Diego Comic-Con 2013 bringing you the latest news on panels, screenings and everything pop culture!

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have been collaborating for years, most notably in Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead. Both films are part of a trilogy started by Pegg, Frost, and director/screenwriter Edgar Wright. The aformentioned films and The World’s End are all part of the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy, where all three films represent a flavor of Cornetto’s Ice Cream. According to Wikipedia:

Each film in the trilogy is connected to a Cornetto ice cream flavour – both of the films released to date feature scenes in which one of the main characters purchases a Cornetto of the appropriate flavour. Shaun of the Dead features a red strawberry flavoured Cornetto, which signifies the film’s bloody and gory elements, Hot Fuzz includes the blue original Cornetto, to signify the police element to the film, and The World’s End is expected to feature the green mint choc-chip flavour

At the San Diego Comic-Con, Heavy.com got the chance to sit down and talk with the three stars about how it feels to be at Comic-Con, their trilogy coming to a close, The World’s End, and future projects.
