1. Knight Was Shot Six Times

The shooting occurred at 1Oak Nightclub in West Hollywood around 1:30 a.m. and Knight was shot six times. TMZ writes:

A source close to Suge tells us … he was shot in the stomach and arm and apparently in other places as well.

No arrests have been made yet and the shooter hasn’t been identified.

2. Since the Shooting, Knight Underwent Surgery and Will Be Okay

Though Knight was shot six times, he actually walked out of the nightclub himself before being taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital. He then underwent surgery to treat the gun shot wounds. According to family via TMZ, Knight is recovering in the ICU of the hospital and is expected to be just fine.

3. There Were Many Stars There At the Time of the Shooting

Chris Brown was throwing the party and Tyson Beckford, Justin Bieber and many others were in attendance, which means anyone of them could have been an innocent bystander. Two other people were also shot (a man and a woman) according to reports and at least one of them is said to be in critical condition. A witness told E! News:

You could hear the gunshots very clearly. The entire club hit the ground and people were being escorted out with their hands up. Chris’ entourage covered him up pretty quickly and were pushing him out the door to get out. I did not see the gunshots but saw Suge Knight walking out and getting into the police car. Obviously the whole place was pretty shaken up.

It’s disappointing that we as a society can’t have fun or enjoy ourselves without any altercations sometimes.

4. The Game Also Had a Fight There That Night

Suge Knight wasn’t the only one caught in the middle of a fight at 1Oak that night. Rapper The Game was also having issues at the club earlier that night. TMZ reports:

An hour-and-a-half before the shots, Game came to the club and he and his buddies got into an altercation with security guards … there was a full-on fight. Game tried to get in was denied and left, but his buddies stayed behind. We do not know if they were involved in the altercation.
