We all know Kanye is big on speeches, so some of his fellow artists are curious about how his acceptance speech will go. A$AP Rocky talked about it to MTV, saying that: I hope he doesn’t rant ... I don’t know if I necessarily want to see a calm Kanye, but I don’t want to see a ranting Kanye. He doesn’t have a reason to rant right now. He’s the man and he’s getting rewarded for something that he did, influencing people such as myself to step it up, as far as videography goes. And I think it’s gonna be amazing. The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award is also known as the Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring an artist's entire body of work. The first of these awards was given out in 1984 to David Bowie. Other recipients have included Beyonce, The Beatles, Michael Jackson and Madonna. In honor of Kanye's talent and his award, click through our gallery of his best photos from 2015 so far.
