Nicki Minaj can now add ‘model’ to her list of professions.
The popular rapper signed a major deal with the modeling agency Wilhelmina on Wednesday, where she will be a representative for their celebrity division. “They get me,” she said in an official statement, ” I love the synergy between my music and how it inspires my fashion.”
That being said, it looks as though Wilhelmina has decided to throw a bit of shade her way. According to SOHH, a screenshot has surfaced that shows that the Twitter account Wilhelmina Models retweeted an unflattering post about Minaj. A user quoted her contract announcement and captioned it with the message “A fake ‘A*s’ model,” which caused The Shade Room to post it and pose the notion that Wilhelmina is giving a chilly welcome to Minaj.
