Kyle Muller: Everything you need to know

The Chunichi Dragons of Nippon Professional Baseball re-signed Muller on Monday, Yakyu Cosmopolitan reports. Muller pitched well in his first season overseas, posting a 3.42 ERA and 110:37 K:BB over 129 innings. The left-hander will remain in Japan for another season rather than attempt a return to the majors, where he's struggled to gain traction with a 5.90 ERA.

Muller agreed to a contract Sunday with the Chunichi Dragons of Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball, Yahoo Japan reports. Muller elected free agency this offseason after being outrighted off the Athletics' 40-man roster and has decided to continue his career overseas. The 27-year-old left-hander had seen action at the MLB level each of the past four seasons with Atlanta and Oakland, compiling a 5.90 ERA and 1.57 WHIP over 175.1 innings.

Muller elected free agency Saturday. Muller was outrighted off the Athletics' 40-man roster Friday and will head to free agency rather than remain in the organization. The left-hander made 21 relief appearances in the majors this year and had a 4.01 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 36:10 K:BB across 49.1 innings.
