UFC 127 Official For Australia This February

The Ultimate Fighting Championship‘s trip back to Sydney, Australia is official for February 27 with UFC 127.

The promotion announced the news earlier today.

The UFC traveled to Sydney’s Acer Arena this past February with “UFC 110: Nogueira vs. Velasquez”, and several fights are already in the works for the upcoming visit to the “Land Down Under”. The main event for the February show was announced by Dana White following UFC 123 last month with a welterweight bout between contenders B.J. Penn and Jon Fitch taking the featured slot on the card.

Also rumored for the event, Australia’s own George Sotiropoulos is expected to take on Dennis Siver, while Michael Bisping vs. Jorge Rivera and Carlos Condit vs. Chris Lytle will likely make the main card as well.

Due to the time difference between the U.S.A. and Australia, the event will take place on February 27 in Australia, while airing in the usual pay-per-view time slot of 10 p.m. ET in the United States.

Also announced today, tickets for the event will go on sale on December 16, while presale options will be available for members of UFC Fight Club and UFC Newsletter Subscribers on December 14 and 15, respectively.
