Coach Robert Saleh said Friday that Gipson (leg) suffered an injury at practice Thursday and is expected to miss a week or two, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports. Gipson walked off the practice field with a notable limp, per Brian Costello of the New York Post, but the specifics of his leg injury remain undisclosed. As a rookie last season, Gipson suited up for all 17 games and worked as the Jets' primary kick and punt returner, but he now faces competition from Tarik Cohen and Isaiah Davis.
Coach Robert Saleh said Thursday that Moses (pectoral) is expected to return to practice next week, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports. Moses underwent offseason surgery to repair his pec after playing much of 2023 with the injury. The Jets traded for the veteran right tackle in a pick swap with the Ravens back in March. Now 33 years old and entering his 11th NFL season, Moses has 144 games of starting experience.

Travis sustained a horrific ankle injury during his final season at Florida State, and it seems his recovery process is taking longer than the Jets originally anticipated. The 24-year-old landed on the active/non-football injury list one week ago, and it sounds like he will remain there for quite some time. New York agreed to terms with quarterback Ben Bryant while Travis continues to recover from his ankle issue.

The 14th overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, Vera-Tucker started all 16 games as a rookie but has missed 22 of 34 games to injuries over the last two seasons. He's expected to handle right guard duties for the Jets in 2024.
The Jets placed Reddick on the reserve/did not report report list Thursday, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports. This move comes as no surprise, as Reddick was expected to hold out of training camp in search of a new contract, just as he did during the Jets' OTAs. The 2017 first-round pick was traded from the Eagles to the Jets earlier this offseason in hopes of replacing Bryce Huff, who left in free agency. Reddick has tallied double-digit sacks in each of his last four seasons, so the Jets could be down a vital piece of their defense if he continues holding out.
Hall (lower body) is participating in 11-on-11 drills at Day 1 of Jets training camp Wednesday, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports. Hall didn't practice at June minicamp due to a lower body injury, though he noted that the coaching staff was mostly holding him out as a precautionary measure. The star running back said earlier this offseason that his knee already feels much better than during the 2023 season, when he was working his way back from an ACL tear. This year, he figures to benefit from improved O-line play, with the Jets having signed LT Tyron Smith, traded for RT Morgan Moses and added tackle Olu Fashanu in the first round of April's draft. Plus, the promise of a healthy Aaron Rodgers should allow New York's offense to take a step forward, after questionable quarterback play heavily limited the unit in recent seasons.
Taylor (undisclosed) passed a physical and was activated from the active/PUP list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Taylor opened the Jets' training camp on the sidelines with an undisclosed injury, but he appears to have fully recovered. The defensive lineman is competing with the likes of Bruce Hector and Tanzel Smart for an active roster spot in 2024.
